Betadine ointment is used for protecting minor wounds against infections. It contains Povidone Iodine, which helps cleanse and disinfect the skin. It helps reduce the risk of infections by targeting bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
Dosage and direction
Clean and dry your skin thoroughly before applying the ointment. Apply a small amount of ointment to the affected area. Apply a dressing or bandage to cover the affected area. Use Betadine as needed, typically 1-2 times daily.
Precautions

Contraindications
